Nawiliwili is a harbor on the Island of Kauai in Hawaii. Cruises dock there to access the island. The port is near the town of Lihue, which is the main one on the island.

Kauai is called The Garden Isle. It features rugged mountains, dramatic canyons, awe inspiring waterfalls, and lush foliage.

The Napali Coast on Kauai is an awesome scenic spectacle with severe cliffs and valleys. It's not very accessible from land, but there are boat tours and helicopter tours. Highly recommended.

Waimea Canyon is called the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific." It's not as big as the real Grand Canyon, but the views from the lookouts are beautiful. Trails are available to walk.

Kauai has several impressive waterfalls that are tourist favorites and have been used in many movies. Wailua Falls, Manawaiopuna Falls, and Opaeka'a Falls are among the most majestic.

The National Tropical Botanical Gardens on Kauai are comprised of three gardens. The McBryde Garden has 259 acres of native Hawaiian plants. The Allerton Garden is 80 acres including towering Moreton Bay Fig trees shown in the movie Jurassic Park.
